Arc Raiders Espresso Quest Guide
Even in Speranza's bleak underground refuge, where raiders live off scraps and half-broken tech, something as simple as a cup of coffee still matters. The Espresso quest comes from Apollo back at base, who's more upset about his dead coffee machine than the end of the world. He asks you to head topside and scavenge parts from an old espresso machine so he can get it working again. On the surface it's a basic fetch quest, but it's also one of the first times the game pushes you into busy urban areas where other players and ARC patrols overlap. It's less about wiping enemies and more about moving smart and getting out alive ARC Raiders Coins.
After picking up the quest from Apollo, take a minute to prep your loadout. You don't need anything fancy, but close-range weapons help a lot since cafes are tight spaces. A shotgun or SMG is ideal, and a shield can save you if you trigger a turret by accident. The most important thing is bringing an augment with a Safe Pocket. That slot protects quest items if you die, which takes a lot of stress out of the run. Bring a couple of medkits or adrenaline shots too, because the area you're heading to is usually busy.
Buried City is the most reliable place to finish the quest. Once you drop in, head toward Plaza Rosa, just south of Town Hall. You'll know you're in the right spot when you see a worn cafe sign hanging over a red-brick building. There's often a turret watching the entrance, so don't run straight in. Use side alleys, rooftops, or wait for it to turn away before dealing with it. Other cafes can spawn around the map, and similar espresso machines sometimes show up in places like the Dam Battlegrounds or Blue Gate houses, but Plaza Rosa is popular because it's close to an extraction point.
Inside the cafe, clear out any ARC drones or other players who got there first. Head behind the counter on the right side and you'll see the espresso machine. Interact with it to grab the Espresso Machine Parts, which should go straight into your Safe Pocket. While you're there, it's worth checking shelves and corners for extra loot, but don't get greedy. This spot attracts attention, and staying too long usually ends badly.
Getting out is the real test. The Southern Station extract is right across the street, which is both a blessing and a trap. It's fast, but other players know that too. Make a dash for it, drop down, and start the extraction. If things get messy, back off and reposition instead of forcing it. With a bit of practice, you can finish the whole run in just a few minutes, especially solo.
Once you're back in Speranza, hand the parts to Apollo to wrap up the quest. You'll get a small cosmetic Coffee Pot trinket that actually steams during raids, along with a few Adrenaline Shots that are genuinely useful early on. It also nudges your reputation forward and unlocks more of Apollo's quest line ARC Raiders Boosting cheap. More than anything, the Espresso quest is a good early lesson in how Arc Raiders works at its best: quick planning, smart movement, and knowing when to leave. Finish it early, learn the cafe spawns, and you'll be better prepared for much riskier runs later on.
