After countless hours chasing down slow movers, I can say going aggressive isn’t just a thrill – it’s how you take control. Stop waiting for danger to pass and start chasing it. And yeah, ditch the bulky shields; they turn you into an easy target. Mobility is your protection, and once you get the hang of it, stacking kills will earn you more ARC Raiders Coins than farming ever will.

Gear That Actually Works

The current must-have is the Combat Mk. 3 augment – more slots and health regen make it a no-brainer. Throw in a Medium Shield so you stay quick on your feet instead of slogging through fights. For mid-range, the Bettina AR is perfect; add a recoil stabilizer and you’ve got a beam that barely moves. Up close, the Bobcat SMG or Stitcher will shred before your target can react. Stock your quick slots smart: heavy fuze grenades to flush campers, and a Shield Recharger for instant comeback potential. If you’re not spamming stims mid-fight, you’re moving too slow.

Movement Makes or Breaks You

Fast players aren’t just jumping around – they’re mixing slides, rolls, and swaps to keep trackers guessing. One trick worth learning is the jump-slide weapon swap. Jump, hit the slide, swap mid-air… now your character’s jerking around and way harder to hit. Bind dodge roll to a side mouse button too; makes chaining moves way smoother. When you crack someone’s shield, you’ve got to press hard and finish them. And when your own shield goes down? Get your health back first – shields are disposable, health isn’t.

Turn the Map Into a Weapon

You can get sneaky with the environment. If someone’s chasing me, I’ll toss a Snitch Core or Burner Core on them, dragging ARC machines into the fight. Suddenly their squad’s fighting bots and me, and it’s chaos. Want easy kills? Drop Jolt Mines at the bottom of busy ziplines or slap a Door Blocker in choke points; panic opens up flanking opportunities.
